Private Voice Lessons for all skill levels
During your trial lesson we will begin with a few questions so we can get to know you and your preferred musical styles. After this initial consultation, we will warm-up your voice so we can begin to get to know you as a singer. It is always a great idea to bring a song you can sing for us so that we may hear your voice in performance. Don't worry, this song does not have to be memorized! Read our "what to expect during your trial lesson" blog post to learn more about what to expect in your 1st lesson.
We typically recommend taking voice lessons once a week or at least twice per month. If your schedule will not allow frequent lessons, we can offer you lessons on an "as needed" basis. Weekly lessons combined with your own home practice is the most recommended way to learn to sing better.

How young is too young to take voice lessons?
We recommend that a singer begins vocal training after puberty, when the voice has settled. Late middle school or high school is the perfect age to begin lessons! Starting voice lessons during middle school or high school allows students to develop vocal habits that will help them with both singing and speaking for the rest of their lives. You can learn more about the benefits of starting voice lessons in middle school or high school by reading our blog post "5 Benefits of Voice Lessons for High Schoolers."
Finely Tuned Voice Lessons has experience in preparing students for musical activities at school and beyond: musicals, choral solos, community theater, etc. We have also helped students prepare music for college auditions.
